Today, we welcome Roeland Van der Stappen to the SFC as our new Deputy Director, Head of Policy & Advocacy. With his background and extensive experience in the financial services industry, Roeland will play a crucial role in advancing our organisation's goals and objectives.
Roeland has an exceptional track record, having worked across the financial services industry including at Visa, Barclays, crypto.com and leading Brussels-based consultancy firms. His broad and in-depth understanding of the financial services landscape positions him as a valuable addition to our team.
In his new role, Roeland will support and complement our policy team as much as spearhead the coordination and strategic development of our policy priorities and advocacy efforts. The new set up will ensure that our organisation remains at the forefront of industry trends and regulatory developments.
